Both Kenney and I are tired this afternoon, but I suppose it's the "good" kind of tired. The tired where you know that you've been productive. It's the tired that makes you feel as though you were able to bless someone in a significant way. I'm so thankful we're apart of the Bible Fellowship Group that we are in! They really are examples of what the early church looked like. They make meals all the time for those that are sick, having babies, going through a death in the family, etc. They look after those who are currently Single moms due to their husbands' absence because they are serving in Iraq. They help people with jobs around their house when they need it. And all of this is done on a consistent basis without complaining or second thoughts.

Today, was Kenney's turn taking care of yard work for one of the guys who is (was) serving in Iraq. This is the young man who is now back in the USA because he was injured in an attack that may still eventually lose his leg. He left at 8 this morning, and didn't return until just a few minutes ago. It's neat to be able to practically help a wounded soldier. Yes you can pray for them. Yes you can send them a card. But to actually take something off of their minds is a good feeling.

But what is even more amazing is that this is done a weekly basis. For two couples by the families in our BFG. Families that are already making meals on a weekly basis, Families that work full time, families that have kids, families that could have easily said that they have a ton of things they needed to do rather than help each other out.

I am so thankful and humbled by the generosity of this group, and pray that we're pulling our weight too.

That's awesome! Daniel was involved in a ministry like this at our old church. It was for single/widowed women. It is true religion, after all! And you will be blessed for it!

That's so great! Maybe my small group can start doing something like this. And when you or your group members feel tired or overwhelmed remember Galatians 6:9--Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Love you girl!
